Sporting a suite of elegant appointments, this big-voiced custom Grand Pacific makes a sonic impact as bold as its visual aesthetic. The classic pairing of AA-grade Indian rosewood back and sides with a hand-selected Lutz spruce top yields a rich, balanced tonal palette characterized by warm lows and clear, articulate trebles. The visual package includes a handful of paua shell appointments, including the paua/black top purfling and edge trim, paua fretboard and peghead inlays in our Century design, and a single-ring paua rosette with black/white purfling. Dark-stained bone bridge pins with green Australian opal dots and ebony binding for the body, fretboard, soundhole, and heel cap accentuate the paua details and striking firestripe pickguard in faux tortoiseshell.
This custom build boasts a full-body gloss finish with a honey- and amber-hued antique blonde color treatment for the top and a matte finish for the mahogany neck. Gotoh 510 tuners in antique gold with black buttons round out the package. This model includes ES2 electronics with a built-in TaylorSense unit and ships in a decorative Western Floral deluxe hardshell case.
All instruments from Music Makers are professionally evaluated and set-up in our historic Galesburg, IL. storefront prior to shipping.
