Finished with a visually striking Lilac Wine color treatment for the back, sides and neck, this custom cutaway Grand Auditorium delivers an enchanting appearance that mirrors its melodic beauty. This model boasts a torrefied Sitka spruce top paired with gorgeously figured Big Leaf maple back and sides, yielding a warm, played-in sound from the first strum along with maple’s highly player-reflective character. Inside, our V-Class bracing adds volume and sustain that complement the torrefied top’s extra sweetness and depth. Maple also comprises the neck, heel, heel cap, backstrap, Fishbones rosette, soundhole binding, and fretboard and peghead purfling. The top and rosette are embellished with sleek black and white purfling, with black purfling for the back and sides. Select shell appointments include a mother-of-pearl peghead logo, gray bone bridge pins with awabhi dots, and agoya peghead and fretboard inlays with a design from legacy limited-edition Grand Auditorium models. This build is finished off with a full-body gloss and ultra-precise Gotoh 510 tuners in antique chrome. It features onboard ES2 electronics with our TaylorSense monitoring unit and ships in a brown deluxe hardshell case.
